Allison’s New Appointment

Long-time employee Frederick (Fred) Bohey is Allison’s new appointment as chief operating officer of the transmission business.

His new role will see him oversee the finance, strategy and business and corporate development, information systems and services (IS&S) and operations organisations.

Allison Transmission CEO David Graziosi says Bohey is a highly respected member of the team who has demonstrated exceptional leadership throughout his time.

“His extensive experience and successful track record make him the ideal choice to help drive our strategic initiatives and growth,” GDavid says.

“I am confident in Fred’s ability to lead these critical areas of our business.”

Throughout his time at Allison, Bohey has been instrumental in overseeing all aspects of its financial management and has played a key role in setting the company’s strategic direction.

His previous roles vary from general accountant, internal auditor and director of international marketing and business planning.

Bohey, who has been with Allison Transmission since 1991, will continue to hold his current roles as chief financial officer and treasurer while taking on his new responsibilities.

The company has begun an extensive search for a new CFO to succeed Bohey, who will continue to serve in these roles until then to ensure a smooth transition.

Graziosi says Bohey displays a deep understanding of the company and the industry and will positively impact the company moving forward.

“We believe this new appointment will enhance our ability to meet the challenges ahead and continue our tradition of innovation and excellence,” David says.
