Aussie Hay Runners f0under Linda Widdup was one of seven recipients of the Dream Maker Award presented by Transport Women Australia Ltd (TWAL) at the Festival of of Transport in Alice Springs last weekend.
This award was created to acknowledge and celebrate the women behind the scenes in transport. Nothing is a fuss or bother for them and they always get the job done.
“Well, we all know, Linda doesn’t just work behind the scenes, she also fronts the organisation and she drives on most runs,” said an Aussie Hay Runners Facebook post acknowledging her award.
“So, we whole heartedly agree that she is most deserved of this prestigious award and recognition.”
In this, the second year of the award, the seven worthy recipients were acknowledged at the TWAL Transport Women Unite Red Ball held during the Alice Springs event.
