Truckies from all over Australia are expected to converge on Gawler, SA, on Friday to farewell Neville ‘Slim’ Mugridge, the popular 77-year-old driver killed in a crash on the Eyre Highway on April 4.
The day begins with a convoy from TML Transport in Two Wells at midday, followed by Slim’s funeral at the Taylor and Forgie Funeral home at 98 Adelaide Road (across the road from the Gawler racecourse) at 2pm.
The wake will be held at the Smithfield Sports and Social Club, 1 Anderson Walk, Smithfield, (across the road from the Smithfield Hotel).
There will be specialised parking for prime movers at both venues.

For those unable to attend, Slim’s funeral will be livestreamed at this link from 2.20pm on April 26.
