CBH Group delivers record-breaking performance

Grain growers’ co-operative, CBH Group, has shared its financial and operational performance for the year ending 30 September 2023.

The business reported a surplus of $353.3 million, primarily driven by a record harvest, strong export demand, record shipping volumes and favourable export margins.

“We received a record 22.9 million tonnes into the CBH network, delivered our largest network investment program, and delivered a record 21.9 million tonnes to our international and domestic customers,” CBH Group said in a statement.

“Almost 100 harvest site records were set across the network and countless others across the co-operative. Pleasingly, it also marked our second safest 12-month period on record.

“Congratulations and thank you to the grain growers of Western Australia, contractors, transporters, the CBH team and their families for their effort, patience and resilience in what was a historic year for CBH.”
