Truckies should allow up to five minutes extra travel time as work continues next week to repair the road surface on the Hume Highway southbound at Marulan, advises Transport for NSW (TfNSW).
Concrete slabs will be replaced on the southbound lanes from just south of Medway Road for about 1.4 kilometres.
Work will be carried out at night from Sunday, February 2 for three weeks between 7pm and 6am, Sunday to Thursday nights, weather permitting.

The NSW Government has provided a total of $35 million towards the rehabilitation of sections of the concrete pavement surface on the Hume Highway at Marulan.
“Due to an increasing number of vehicles using the highway each year, and the age of the road, its condition has deteriorated and ongoing maintenance expenses are increasing,” TfNSW said.
