Delays ahead for truckies on Hume Highway at Sutton Forest

Truckies should allow up to 10 minutes extra travel time while road repair work is underway on a section of the Hume Highway at Sutton Forest in NSW from next week.

Transport for NSW (TfNSW) said the work will involve resurfacing the northbound lanes of the Hume Highway between the southern intersection of Hanging Rock Road to Hanging Rock Swamp Road.

Work will be carried out between 8pm and 3am, Sunday to Thursday nights, from Monday, April 28 to Sunday, May 11, weather permitting.

During work, single lane closures and reduced speed limits of 40 km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.
