Truckies are advised of changed traffic conditions from next week on the Oxley Highway as work begins to fix the damage caused by a large slip at Pooks Lookout, 15 kilometres west of Mount Seaview, in the Mid-North Coast region of NSW.
From Monday, November 11, the remedial work will be carried out from 7am to 6pm on weekdays, and 8am to 5pm some Saturdays. It is expected to be completed in July 2025, weather permitting.
Transport for NSW (TfNSW) said drivers should allow up to five minutes in extra travel time.
There will be no work carried out during the Christmas period from Monday, December 23, to Monday, January 6.
Between November 2024 and February 2025, single lane, alternating traffic flow arrangements will be required, and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place during work hours for the safety of workers and road users.

Repair work to the Oxley Highway will be carried out between Forbes River and Knodingbul Roads from February to July 2025.
This work starting in early 2025 will require the closure of the Oxley Highway in both directions from 7am to 4.30pm, Tuesday to Thursday and 7am to 3pm Fridays.
The highway will remain open on weekends and Mondays.
TfNSW said it thanks drivers for their patience during this time.
