There will be changed traffic conditions in place next week from Cassilis to Merriwa for maintenance work on the Golden Highway.
Upper Hunter Shire Council will carry out the work on behalf of Transport for NSW, which includes resealing the road and general maintenance.
Work will be carried out from Monday 17 to Saturday 22 November from 7am to 6pm. Work is expected to be completed in six days, weather permitting.
Traffic control, single lane closure, intermittent stoppages of up to 15 minutes, and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will be in place.
Over size and/or over mass vehicles will need to call ahead on UHF channel 38 to be escorted through the site.
