“Bolstered by this success and driven by our commitment to innovation, we’ve decided to embark on a new frontier in the world of stainless steel tankers.

“We know the industry has been yearning for an alternative to the incumbent for quite some time.”

Stables said that while it is fully imported and price competitive the Hockney & Co stainless steel tanker is 100 per cent Australian designed.

“It’s not about the price point or the initial sale,” he said. “It’s about the partnership and the relationships that we have past the original sale.

“Good businesses are safe businesses whereas safe businesses are sustainable businesses. That’s what this product and the relationship will bring to the industry.”

Dunn thanked all industry partners involved in the support and development of the Hockney & Co stainless steel tanker innovation.

The FBT Spec includes various components from Fort Vale, Air Brake Systems, Haulmax Tyres (supported by their Haulmax Wingman program), SAF-Holland’s tyre pressure monitoring system, Fleetmark along with access to 3M reflective tape for safety marking, HELLA lighting, WHG (telematics, cameras) and more.
