Hydraulic systems solution provider, Hydreco Hydraulics, has introduced the new CK197 pendant control kit to the market, for use with hydraulics systems.
It provides an alternative from traditional air operated and rocker switch controls for tipping systems, for both distributors and end users.
The innovative new product was released following regulation changes to VSB6 Ver3.2 Sect J4, which require pendant controls to have an E-Stop. Hydreco recognised these changes early and has worked with supply chain to engineer and perfect the product for its customers.
Hydreco has designed a unique mounting bracket (50000306) that simulates a CB radio-like mount. Truckies will be very familiar with it – and it is so easy to install.
There is no need to find switch space on the dashboard, with no modifications required. There are two versions of the product being released: the CK197 for end tipping applications and the CK198 for side tipping applications.
The pendant is fully programmable. The pendant is fully programmable, with Hydreco’s data sheet outlining all possible combinations to make ordering easy.
The three standard programs on the CK197 are for the truck and trailer (2 spool valve); end tipper (separate up and down buttons, truck and trailer, 2 spool valve); end tipper (1 up and down and tipper select buttons); and the B-double end tipper (1 spool valve + diverter); and there is one program for the CK198 which is suited to quad side tipper applications.
Two-step buttons are also utilised to simplify the slow lower function (tipping valve dependant) if required, meaning the one button is used for both functions.
For clarity during operation, there is an LED status on each function/button.
System timeout can be programmed (before shipment) for a suitable shut-off period.
As usual, the control kits are supplied as a pre-packaged system kit, where everything required for the installation is included. Some of these inclusions are air solenoids (12 or 24vdc), a wiring loom and connectors with pre-wired pendant and plug.
