Aussie Truck Rehab star Jon Kelly has announced that Season 2 of the show is set to hit our screens next Tuesday April 9.
Fans can catch it live at 8.30pm (AEST) on 7mate, or stream it at any time after that on 7plus.
“We’ve got some great new episodes, we’ve got some really cool trucks we’ve done, we’ve got some great customers,” Kelly said.
“We’ve got a bit of fun, a bit of turmoil, a bit of pain and suffering! Stay tuned.”
Kelly previously told Big Rigs that his team at Heavy Haulage Assets has expanded since Season 1 of Aussie Truck Rehab.
“There are also some familiar faces from the old HHA crew from years ago,” he said.
“We’re building a really good team of both guys and girls to put out the best trucks in the country.”
Kelly first came to fame through the hit 2012 show MegaTruckers, which followed his since-collapsed business Heavy Haulage Australia.
Since then, Kelly has founded a new truck dealership and truck refurbishment business, Heavy Haulage Assets.
Aussie Truck Rehab came about when the makers of MegaTruckers approached him about bringing that original show back.
“They wanted to make another series of MegaTruckers, but my business and what I’m doing now has evolved into something different,” he said.
“So then it got pitched that we do a show based on the truck sales business and the refurb business, because there are such good stories in the trucks that we do and who we do them for.
“The series was then launched around that, and it’s been a really cool to do something very original and showcase the Australian truck industry in a positive light.”
