Agitator specialist Lazza’s Logistics has switched to UD Trucks and made a splash in doing so.
The Queensland based sub-contractor just recently took ownership of ten new 8×4 UD Quons which will be put to use for major clients like Holcim and Hy-TEC.
Owners Larry and Carla White prioritise safety and productivity as part of the cornerstones that have defined their successful 20 years of operations.
The Quon CG30360PAA 8×4 marks the first UD Truck purchased by the business.
Belief in the product is such they have already committed to an order of ten units.
“With our trucks hauling cements loads and making numerous drop offs between the Gold Coast and Brisbane we need safe, reliable and efficient vehicles” said Larry White.
The Quon comes with safety features like disc brakes, traffic eye breaking, lane departure warning system and electronic stability control, all of which are designed to ensure the safety of the driver and other road users.
“Our priority is ensuring our drivers return safe to their families at the end of the day” said Carla White.
As well as safety, UD Trucks values environmental care, and the 8-litre Quon delivers a number of features which work together to maximise fuel savings, including ECO mode, adaptive cruise control and ESCOT Roll.
The high-tensile steel chassis frame and low tare weight have helped increase payload and the 8×4 Quon features an ESCOT-VI automated manual transmission which is also anticipated to enhance driver comfort.
Vice President of UD Trucks Sales Lauren Downs said the brand’s values made for an excellent strategic fit with the Lazza’s Logistics business.
“We look forward to hopefully celebrating our joint success with our latest product offering,” she said in a statement.
