Airbag Man has built a reputation as a pioneer in the Australian air suspension industry over the past 30 years, and will be onsite displaying popular products at the 2025 Brisbane Truck Show.
Taking centre stage in their lineup will be the company’s range of specially designed suspension assist kits for light to medium rigid trucks, offering suspension support for these more compact applications.
Despite air suspension technology being synonymous with heavy vehicles, the smaller classes generally missed out on the benefits until Airbag Man developed a solution, according to the company’s General Manager, Ben Clamp.

While the factory suspension can be capable for some load scenarios, our assist kits provide the added benefit of being able to adjust for variable loads, while also reducing the toll on the vehicle and its driver,” Ben said.
“Our kits are designed specifically to mount between the leaf spring and the chassis, supporting the load to prevent bottoming out and suspension sag, at the same time as improving vehicle stability, handling and braking.
“It’s one of the most simple, cost-effective aftermarket modifications you can make to minimise driver fatigue while enhancing the safety and longevity of your most valuable assets.”
Since being established in 1995, Airbag Man has been at the forefront of air suspension innovation, designing and manufacturing Australia’s largest range of vehicle-specific suspension assist kits.
As an approved Firestone distributor for truck, trailer, cab, and seat airbags, Airbag Man has been supplying air suspension systems and components to the heavy vehicle market for decades.
From their state-of-the-art facility in Brendale, the team supplies a wide range of air control components for heavy vehicles, including height control valves; raise/lower valves; brake protection valves; lift axle valves; as well as pressure control regulators and gauges. System-specific enclosures are designed and assembled in-house to meet customer and legislation requirements, following ISO9001 Quality Assurance Operating Standards.
The proudly Australian owned and operated family business, which started off in a suburban garage 30 years ago, is now one of the largest airbag suspension companies in the world. To meet growing demand, Airbag Man has expanded its product range to an impressive 7000 line items (and growing).
“Despite what the name suggests, Airbag Man supplies far more than just airbags when it comes to suspension,” Ben said.
“If you’re at the Brisbane Truck Show, check out our range, and speak to our expert team about the ways we support your rig or fleet.”
