An innovative new lubricant product developed by Graphene Manufacturing Group (GMG) is proving to be a game-changer, delivering exceptional results after years of testing.
GMG’s G LUBRICANT is a completely new product, unlike anything else currently on the market.
Manufactured in Brisbane, the product is a graphene liquid concentrate that can be added to any mineral or synthetic oil used in an internal combustion engine – including both petrol and diesel.
It is made using a nano technology called graphene, derived through GMG’s own unique green production processes.
That graphene is added to the G LUBRICANT product, delivering users with exceptional fuel savings.
G Lubricant has been shown to increase fuel efficiency by up to 8.4 per cent in a diesel engine, which has been independently verified.
Over the past four years, GMG conducted environmentally controlled testing of G LUBRICANT in internal combustion engines, which was monitored and verified by the University of Queensland. GMG’s test results have been corroborated by similar savings realised by customers over a number of years of in-field testing.

He is an engineer with over 20 years of experience in delivering large scale innovation including leading multi-billion-dollar gas and LNG value chains in Australia and Asia Pacific and managing sales and marketing teams across Asia Pacific working for Shell International.
Through his decades of work in the field, Craig has managed the build of lubrication plants; and extensively studied the science of lubrication and wear.
He says that the company’s G LUBRICANT is already getting great feedback from customers. “An 8.4 per cent reduction in fuel usage is quite high. If you apply that to a long haul truck for a year, that’s a fuel saving of about $8000 per truck, per year, so it’s quite significant. This product is the result of eight years of development and testing, and we’re continually looking to improve our product even further. Our G LUBRICANT is currently patent pending – and is likely to be globally patented.”
One 500ml bottle of G Lubricant mixes into 50 litres of oil. Therefore the amount of graphene in the final lubricant product once the G Lubricant is mixed in is only ~ 1:10,000, with the balance of the concentrate consisting of lubricating base oil. As a result, G Lubricant can be used safely in any internal combustion engine.
“What we see with graphene is its ability to move heat and lubricate – it is the highest conductor of heat in the world of any material and is one of the best materials for lubrications there is,” Craig added.
“Our G Lubricant when blended into the final engine oil only contains 0.01 per cent graphene. That’s the big thing – it’s such a small amount and yet we are getting these amazing results. We’re now working to continue evolving this product even further.”
Since G LUBRICANT officially hit the market in late February 2025, a number of fleets have been putting it to the test. “We have several vehicles doing trials now and some are reporting fuel savings of between 8-12 per cent,” Craig added.
