The National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) says harvest season is a good time to focus on the risks faced by agricultural workers, who may have to work long days to complete the harvest in a tight timeframe.
The regulator says it’s also important to ensure all heavy vehicles used for agricultural work are well maintained, mechanically safe and fit for purpose.
