PACCAR recalls 4,890 Kenworths due to manufacturing problem

PACCAR Australia has recalled 4,890 Kenworths due to a manufacturing issue.

Various models produced between 2023 and 2024 are affected.

The full list of vehicle identification numbers is available on the Australian government’s Vehicle Recalls website.

Due to a manufacturing issue, the elbow fitting from the rear spring brake valve to the forward drive axle may not have been tightened to the sufficient torque, and could become loose.

This may cause unintended brake application whilst driving, increasing the risk of an accident.

Owners of affected vehicles should immediately contact their preferred Kenworth dealership to have the work carried out, free of charge.

Find your nearest dealership on the PACCAR website.

For more information contact Kenworth on 0397211500.
