Pure Hydrogen receives agitator order

Pure Hydrogen has reached an agreement with Heidelberg Materials Australia to supply a hydrogen fuel cell agitator for use in their construction operations.

This will see Heidelberg take on the T30-200 30-ton agitator, with delivery set for the fourth quarter of 2025.

“Receiving this order from Heidelberg Materials Australia marks another step forward in Pure Hydrogen’s growth and highlights our commitment to advancing sustainable transport solutions,” says Pure Hydrogen managing director Scott Brown.

“The T30-200 hydrogen fuel cell truck is a powerful example of how we are reshaping the heavy-duty transport sector, offering a future-proof solution that combines advanced technology, environmental responsibility, and operational efficiency.”

Developed by Pure Hydrogen subsidiary HDrive, it features an 8×4 axle configuration, a 58kWh traction battery and a 200kW hydrogen fuel cell.

“Heidelberg Materials’ Sustainability Commitments 2030 form the basis of our sustainability initiatives, including a focus on CO2 emission reductions,” says Heidelberg CEO Phil Schacht.

“This trial of hydrogen-fuelled agitator trucks has the potential to reduce our transport-related emissions and provide valuable insights into the feasibility of integrating such technology into our fleet management.”
