SRV Roadfreight acquires beverage and food transporter

Gold Coast-based general freight carrier, SRV Roadfreight Services, has announced the acquisition of BEVTRANS, a beverage and food transporter.

In a social media post this week, SRV said it was excited about the takeover and is looking to integrate a new-look organisational structure within the next 90 days.

“This is an important day for the SRV Group as we can take our Safety, Reliability and Value to the next level along the eastern seaboard,” the company said in the post.

“SRV recognised the strategic fit between our organisations and the significant value this will create for both parties.”

The statement also said company leaders and drivers will be visiting operational sites and DTCs in order to facilitate a smooth integration.

The agreement will involve new Kenworths and Vawdrey trailers featuring the new BEVTRANS logo.

SRV currently operates over 80 Kenworth prime movers and its major accounts include Coca Cola.

The Yatala-based company anticipates the acquisition will also deliver increased job opportunities within the group.

“I strongly believe offering our innovative solutions and integrating our resources and expertise will enhance our market position and provide substantial benefits to our customers,” said SRV owner Errol Cosgrove.
