A driver nicknamed Elvis loves the new Kenworth T909 he drives for B&K Bulk Haulage from his base in Townsville to an outback mine.
Elvis said he had retired but was urged to make a comeback to deliver out to remote Cannington Mine.
“I haul cement and the Kenworth is great and has a powerful 700hp motor,” Elvis said.
Cannington Mine is located west of Kynuna and McKinlay.
When he is not working, Elvis enjoys having a cold drink and a meal at Townsville’s Bellevue Hotel where many drivers congregate.
“I can buy a steak with chips and salad for just $14 which is great value,” he said.
