Two members of Australia’s key national regulatory bodies for the transport industry will deliver important updates at State Conference 2024.
The Victorian Transport Association (VTA) has confirmed that National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) CEO, Sal Petroccitto, and members of his team will be attending State Conference 2024 to provide important operational and safety information.

“It’s been a busy few years for the NHVR with additional states and territories falling under its remit.
“In the six states and territories where the HVNL applies, there are more than 114,000 registered prime movers, one million registered heavy vehicle units, and 269,000 registered operators.”
Anderson also revealed that National Transport Commission (NTC) CEO, Michael Hopkins, will be present.

Last week, the VTA announced that the fast-emerging commercial threat of cyber security will be addressed by a keynote speaker at State Conference 2024.
