The truck parking bay on the M1 Pacific Highway northbound carriageway, about 2.7 kilometres north of the Adelaide Street roundabout, has been permanently closed due to works on the M1 Raymond Terrace project.
Transport for NSW (TfNSW) said alternative truck parking is available at:
Beresfield Service Centre Rest Area on John Renshaw Drive, about 14 kilometres, or 15 minutes before the closed parking bay.
12 Mile Creek Rest Area, about 16 kilometres, or 10 minutes past the closed parking bay.
Operators of oversize and/or over mass (OSOM) are also advised that the southbound carriageway width of the M1 Pacific Highway between Richardson Road and Adelaide Steet has been reduced to a maximum of 8.5 metres between bridge rails.
This reduction will be in place until the project is completed, said TfNSW.
