Today, rain and thunderstorms are expected to spread across Queensland, large areas of inland NSW and eastern South Australia, with severe thunderstorms also likely.
Tomorrow, the Bureau says rain and widespread thunderstorms will move towards eastern Queensland, NSW, Victoria, and far eastern parts of South Australia. Severe thunderstorms are likely, especially across eastern Queensland, NSW and northern Victoria.
Rainfall totals of 25 to 50mm are likely across South Australia, Queensland, NSW, Tasmania, and Victoria this week, with 50 to 100mm expected in southern inland Queensland on and west of the ranges in NSW and northern Victoria.
Emergency evacuation warning are in place for parts of Echuca and Echuca Village. The community there has been rallying together to build a levy in a bid to help protect thousands of homes.
