The Warrego Highway at Glenore Grove Crossroads, which closed yesterday due to flooding, has reopened in both directions.
As of 10am today, there are now no highway closures in the wake of ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred, reports Leanne Dyer, the administrator for On the Pads “QLD EDITION” Facebook group.
That includes the Cunningham Highway between Amberley and Aratula, which had been closed yesterday due to flooding.
A number of heavy vehicle and freight restrictions, however, are in place to maintain the connectivity of the road network in the wake of recent flooding and cyclone disasters, advises the Department of Transport and Main Roads. Click here for the latest.
Normal operations are also now slowly resuming at the Port of Brisbane.
In NSW, flooding has closed the road between Lismore and Clunes, and further south, in multiple sections of Big River Way.
