Truckies are advised of changed traffic conditions from Monday, January 13, until Friday, January 17, to carry out work for the M1 Pacific Motorway extension to Raymond Terrace.

To minimise the impact to truckies and motorists, work will be carried out at night at the following locations:

From 7pm to 5am on Monday 13, Tuesday 14 and Thursday, January 16, the eastbound off-ramp from the New England Highway to Anderson Drive will be closed with a detour in place via New England Highway/Maitland Road, weather permitting. See map below.

Please note that this detour is unsuitable for vehicles operating on the SPV Level 6, SPV Level 4 & 12t/ axle & SPV Level networks. Over-size over-mass (OSOM) vehicles and special purpose vehicles will be escorted through the closure. See map below.

Transport for NSW stressed that vehicles travelling under a permit must not travel off the approved route listed in the permit unless an updated permit is obtained from the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator.

Major construction work will continue across the remainder of the project from 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday and Saturday from 8am to 5pm, as well as out of hours from 7pm to 5am Monday to Friday nights.
